Dodge Truck 1972 D200
Restored 1999

Dodge Truck 1972, D200 3/4 ton. Been in the family since it was new. Sat in a driveway in California for the seven years we lived in Hawaii. Ended up replacing almost every non-metal part.

Eight coats of  Silver Mint light and Silver Mint dark paint. Notice how the shell matches up to the cab and bed profile. It may have been the last one made for a Dodge Truck of this era before they broke the mold. Eight bolt 17 inch steel rims.

Fresh 360 engine, Holley 600, Edelbrock manifold, Morpar Hi-Po ignition, 2" exhaust system, mild cam, built trans., dual fuel tanks (32 gal.) and carbon valve seats to handle the unleaded gas. It's driven daily in California. It sports: air, power brakes, power steering, power door lock, power antenna.

The interior was also repainted. Look at the brake pedal (orange) for the original color. I kept it as a reminder. The seat is done in a Navaho material, just because I liked the pattern.

Added the 3/4 carpet kit for the dog, a yellow lab. She rides on the front platform with her head through the passthrough window. The storage area under the seats also hold the fishing rods

Found most of the parts, door panels, tailgate hinges, arm rest, etc. through the sources on Kris Wickstead's Web Site: Catering to the Dodge Truck Enthusiast
